Background

China Copper Mines Limited is located in Fitula Mimbula, Chingola town, Copperbelt Province

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the loading on trucks is correct, no over-load and no under-load, in a safe and
• Ensure that the bench where the excavator is sitting on is leveled.
• Maintains safe and clean working area of loading bays.
• Ensure the checklist is completed and submitted.
• Work safely in trenches and on excavation sites.
• Ensure good house-keeping.
• Follow operating manuals and general signage.
• Adhere to all site safety standards, including proper use of PPE and hazard reporting.
• Completes correct pre-start checks and correct start up procedure on excavator.
• Report needed repairs to PIC.
• Follow correct instructions from the respective PIC and laid down procedure.
• Perform any other duties to be assigned by the PIC.

Requirements

• Competence Certificate in excavator operations.
• 1 year of experience operating large wheel loaders in a surface mining environment.
• No criminal record.
• Experience in a Mining environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Grade 12 certificate.
• Curriculum vitae.
• Valid silicosis.
