We are looking for a commercially inclined, young and vibrant experienced individual to fill the position of Farm Manager. The Farm Manager will be central to driving the growth of the farm to become a commercial operation. Key competencies and experience required of the suitable candidate are given below:

Duties:
• Ensure livestock and poultry are adequately cared for
• Manage and facilitate the procurement of livestock and poultry supplies
• Manage the monitoring and consumption of livestock and poultry supplies
• Ability to implement appropriate livestock and poultry rearing techniques to prevent disease and avoidable livestock losses
• Manage, organize and supervise workers caring for livestock and Poultry
• Knowledge and experience in the effective and efficient rearing of livestock and poultry is expected
• Build a strong and reliable team of labourers able to aid in the sustainable and profitable rearing of livestock and poultry on the farm
• Capable of managing the production of crops such as Wheat, maize, and Soya beans
• Aid in operational planning of day-to-day tasks on the farms
• Keep updated Financial Records

Qualifications
• A minimum of a Diploma in Agriculture/Agriculture Business Management / or Animal Science, a degree will be an added advantage.
• Valid driver’s license
• Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in a management position
• Good technical, organization and interpersonal skills with a high level of integrity
• At least 3 traceable references

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: Associate Degree
