FINANCIAL ANALYST

A Zambian financial institution based in Ndola is inviting suitably qualified applicants for the position of FINANCIAL ANALYST.

Purpose of the Job

The job holder will be responsible for undertaking analysis of financial data in order to identify trends and patterns for the purpose of informing policy.

Main duties

• Undertakes timely the verification of financial information with external sources in order to ensure their accuracy.
• Undertakes timely analysis and interpretation of financial reports in order to facilitate decision making.
• Undertakes effectively the collection and analysis of financial data in order to determine potential trends and patterns.

Academic and Professional Qualifications

• Grade 12 Certificate
• Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Finance or its equivalent
• Relevant work experience is an added advantage

• Critical thinking and problem solving
• Ability to write analytical and technical reports
• Communication and presentation skills
• Adaptability and continuous learning

All candidates are required to obtain their certification from the Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA).
