JOB DETAILS:
JOB SUMMARY AND DESIRED QUALIFICATION:
Responsible for supervising and ensuring that all production equipment and other equipment are in good safe operating condition and maintained to ensure compliance with the applicable statutory regulations.
Responsible for managing the maintenance resources to support the operations of all equipment which include the Manufacturing Plant, MMU (mobile manufacturing Unit), LV (light Vehicles) and Forklift.
Responsible for task allocation, assessment and job prioritisation and ensuring that jobs/tasks are carried out in a timely and safe manner to minimise loss of production.
Responsible for spare part requisitions and spares stock control to reduce downtime for all critical spares
• +5 years’ experience Supervisory in a manufacturing industry or Mining setup is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of PLC and other related electronics applications eg; UFD, PID controllers and SCADA.
• Good troubleshooting skills and root cause analysis in Electrical and Electronics
• Experience with installation testing/commissioning and maintenance for electrical or electronics applied equipment and fixtures.
• Knowledge in Condition monitoring maintenance of mobile equipment and Manufacturing Plant
• Knowledge of Computer-based applications e.g., Excel, Microsoft word and experience in CMMS (computerised maintenance management system) e.g., Pronto, Limble, Hippo, eMaint etc
• Knowledge of legal compliance inspections on equipment and certifications
• Active EIZ practising licence
• Must have a minimum certification in an Electrical or Electronics Engineering discipline or any other related qualification from a recognised institution of learning.
