Role Overview
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving brand awareness, generating qualified leads, supporting sales, and positioning NetOne as a technology leader in Zambia. The role combines strategic marketing, digital campaigns, B2B engagement, and collaboration with sales and product teams to achieve measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with business objectives and growth targets.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
Define target segments and craft messaging that resonates with key customer groups (B2B/B2C).
Brand Management & Communications
Build and strengthen NetOne’s brand across digital and traditional channels.
Manage content creation for website, blogs, case studies, newsletters, press releases, and social media.
Coordinate corporate communications, PR campaigns, and thought leadership initiatives.
Lead Generation & Sales Support
Design and execute demand-generation campaigns to drive qualified leads.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop marketing collateral, pitch decks, and proposals.
Track and report on lead conversions, ROI, and contribution to the sales pipeline.
Digital Marketing & Campaigns
Manage digital marketing channels including SEO, SEM, email marketing, LinkedIn, and other social platforms.
Plan and optimize paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.).
Use analytics tools to measure campaign performance and continuously improve results.
Events & Partnerships
Organize presentations, activations, product launches, customer engagement events, and trade shows.
Collaborate with partners, vendors, and industry associations to amplify reach.
Team & Budget Management
Lead and mentor the marketing team, agencies, and freelancers.
Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (MBA preferred).
3–5 years’ experience in marketing, preferably in the technology/ICT sector.
Strong knowledge of digital marketing, content marketing, and lead generation strategies.
Experience with CRM and marketing tools (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics, Canva, Survey Monkey) is an advantage.
Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Creative thinker with a problem-solving mindset and high attention to detail.
