Mechanical Plant Operator (Soybean Processing & Soya Chunks Production)

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Plant Operator to work in our soybean processing facility, located on Mumbwa Road, Lusaka

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor soybean processing equipment
• Operate and maintain extruders, expellers, conveyors, and dryers
• Perform routine mechanical repairs and troubleshooting
• Ensure smooth production flow and minimize downtime
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and quality standards
• Assist in daily production targets and reporting

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of extruder and expeller repair
• Experience working in a mechanical soybean plant or similar industrial environment
• Ability to diagnose mechanical faults and perform quick repairs
• Basic understanding of production process and machinery operation
• Hardworking, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision
