Medical Operation Department

Medical Officer/Senior Medical Officer - 5 posts

Reports To: Head of Medical Operation and Chief Medical Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide daily inpatient care, including patient rounds, progress notes, treatment monitoring, and reporting to consultants.
• Ensure timely response to emergencies, critical cases, pre- and post-operative patients, and VIP patients.
• Accurately transcribe and administer prescribed medications, treatments, and investigations.
• Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure accurate medication administration and treatment compliance.
• Prepare and manage patient documentation, including medical records, treatment charts, consent forms, and discharge summaries.
• Communicate with consultants, patients, and families regarding medical conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
• Assist consultants during rounds, surgeries, and procedures as required.
• Facilitate smooth coordination between wards, operating theatres, ICUs, and diagnostic departments.
• Oversee pre- and post-operative assessments, ensuring patient readiness and accurate reporting of results.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of critical, post-op, and referred cases to supervisors and administration.
• Maintain professional conduct, punctuality, and adherence to hospital policies and protocols.

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized university.
• Valid medical license to practice.
• Fresh graduates may apply for Junior Medical Officer; minimum 2 years’ clinical experience preferred for Medical Officer.
• Strong knowledge of inpatient care, medical procedures, and hospital operations.
