What you’ll do:

Design, build, and ship full-stack features using TypeScript/JavaScript, React/Next.js, and Node.js.

Model data and write performant queries in MongoDB or Postgres.

Create and maintain APIs, background jobs, and integrations.

Write unit and integration tests with Jest, contributing to CI quality gates.

Deploy and operate workloads on GCP or AWS (including logs, metrics, and basic infrastructure-as-code).

Collaborate in code reviews, design discussions, and roadmap planning, while documenting decisions and trade-offs.

Take ownership of outcomes: monitor, debug, and iterate based on product and customer feedback.

What you’ll bring (must-haves):

4+ years of professional software engineering experience.

Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript across both frontend and backend.

Strong hands-on experience with React/Next.js and Node.js.

Solid understanding of Postgres and/or MongoDB data modeling and performance fundamentals.

Practical experience with Jest (or similar testing frameworks).

Comfortable with Docker and containerized development.

Working knowledge of GCP or AWS services (deployments, storage, networking, and monitoring).

Clear communication skills, a product-oriented mindset, and a bias toward action.

Nice to have:

Knowledge of additional programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, C++) or strong interest in learning them.

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and fundamental security best practices (authentication, identity management).
