Job Purpose:

To provide safe and secure transportation for personnel, gold consignments, equipment, and documents, ensuring adherence to company security protocols and operational efficiency in field activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport field staff, assay equipment, gold consignments, and official documents between sites.
• Adhere strictly to security and chain-of-custody procedures during transport of gold.
• Maintain assigned vehicles in excellent mechanical and operational condition.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, and report any faults immediately.
• Keep vehicle logs, fuel consumption records, and maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with traffic laws and internal transport regulations.
• Support loading, offloading, and secure handover of materials or gold packages.
• Assist in field errands, deliveries, and logistical arrangements as assigned.
• Promote a culture of safety, integrity, and confidentiality in handling company property.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• General Certificate of Education (GCE)
• Class C Driving Licence or PSV Licence with a clean record
• Crafts Certificate in Mechanics or Crafts certificate in Auto Electrical is an added advantage
• Minimum 5 years’ driving experience, preferably in corporate, security, or mining environments.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and defensive driving skills.
• Experience in secure or cash-in-transit operations will be an advantage.
