Key Responsibilities
Support the Chinese Quality Manager and Technical Manager in the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the factory's Quality Management System (QMS).
Assist the Chinese Quality Manager in coordinating quality-related activities across departments to ensure compliance with company standards and quality objectives.
Support the preparation, translation (where applicable), revision, distribution, and control of quality manuals, procedures, SOPs, work instructions, and quality records.
Act as a liaison between local departments and Chinese management to facilitate effective communication and implementation of quality system requirements.
Assist the Chinese Quality Manager during customer audits, certification audits, management reviews, and quality improvement projects.
Prepare quality reports, analyses, and presentations for management using Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.
Provide administrative and technical support to the Chinese Quality Manager in monitoring production quality performance and resolving quality-related issues.
Coordinate customer audits, factory inspections, and audit-related documentation and reception activities.
Monitor document control practices and operational compliance across all production and support departments.
Assist in delivering quality system training to employees on ISO 9001 requirements, product specifications, technical standards, operating procedures, and quality awareness.
Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Ensure proper use, maintenance, filing, and traceability of quality records and system documentation.
Review quality and inspection records regularly to ensure accuracy, completeness, authenticity, and compliance with company requirements.
Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or impractical requirements within existing quality systems and recommend improvements to the Quality Manager.
Facilitate communication and coordination between departments to ensure alignment with quality objectives and system requirements.
Analyze quality data and prepare reports using Microsoft Excel to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform dimensional inspections using Vernier calipers and other precision measuring instruments to verify compliance with product specifications.
Carry out any other quality system-related duties assigned by management.
Qualifications and Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology, Ceramics Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Quality Systems within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and internal auditing principles.
Experience in document control, corrective and preventive action (CAPA), root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and quality performance monitoring.
Practical experience in using Vernier calipers and other precision measuring instruments.
Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with multicultural teams and coordinate activities across multiple departments.
Experience in ceramic tile manufacturing or building materials manufacturing will be an added advantage.
ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification will be an added advantage
