We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Executive to join our Plastics Houseware Manufacturing Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales across a diverse product portfolio, including:
- Plastic houseware items
- Paint and oil buckets
- Beverage and bakery crates
- Export markets across the region
Responsibilities or duties
- Manage and grow domestic and export sales in existing and new markets
- Identify customer needs and tailor product offerings accordingly
- Prepare sales plans, reports, forecasts, and presentations
- Engage in pricing, negotiations, and business development
- Leverage digital and electronic media for marketing and advertising campaigns
- Coordinate closely with production and logistics teams for timely deliveries
- Report directly to the General Manager and Director
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales within the plastic houseware or related manufacturing sectors
- Qualification of Bachelor’s degree (e.g., BA, BSc, BCom, BEng) preferred
- Strong knowledge of plastic raw materials, product types, and quality processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Conversant with digital marketing tools and platforms (social media, email campaigns, WhatsApp Business, etc.)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Zambian national preferred
- Possession of a valid passport and willingness to travel regionally is an added advantage
