About the role:
Our client is offering an exciting and rewarding opportunity to gain hands-on sales experience with a mission-driven, fast-paced organisation in the renewable energy sector.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise sales agents in the assigned territory or market segment
- Establish and maintain strong business relationships with agents to ensure target achievement
- Conduct and coordinate meetings, activations, prospection activities, burn parties, and any related sales-driving activities
- Implement zoning strategies per feasibility study outcomes
- Collaborate with the Regional Manager and Sales Support Rep to execute company initiatives such as pilots, launches, promotions, and trade shows
- Ensure adequate product availability across shops and agents in the territory
- Manage and reconcile stock, enforce FIFO principles, and maintain a zero “lost units” policy
- Oversee stockist operations and ticket resolution within SLA
- Lead all reverse logistics in the assigned territory
- Monitor and support agent performance, including PJP reviews, accompaniment, coaching, and mentoring
- Recruit and train new agents/scouts, and manage agent exits
- Act as the administrative lead for agents, including performance tracking and discipline
- Report fraud and tampering issues promptly
Required skills and qualifications
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Experience supervising or leading field sales teams, agents, or promoters.
- Ability to recruit, train, and manage field agents effectively.
- Strong coaching, mentoring, and team development skills.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Experience in FMCG, renewable energy, telecommunications, or direct sales environments is an added advantage.
- Experience in territory management.
Compensation:
This opportunity offers a base pay + commission structure.
