Role Overview:

The Sales and Marketing Officer is responsible for expanding the company’s market share for processed meat products. This role involves managing relationships with wholesale clients—such as supermarkets, hotels, and restaurants—while promoting the brand to retail consumers.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development: Identify and acquire new wholesale clients, retail and manage customer accounts to maximize sales potential.

Product Promotion: Execute promotional activities and marketing campaigns to improve product marketability and brand visibility.

Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify competitor trends, pricing strategies, and new market opportunities for various meat categories.

Technical Sales: Communicate product features (cuts, quality standards, organic benefits) and prepare accurate service proposals or quotations.

Coordination: Liaise with production and logistics teams to ensure customer orders are executed expeditiously and meet quality specifications.

Requirements:

Education: Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or Agribusiness.

Experience: 3+ years in sales, specifically within the meat industry or food-related FMCG.

Skills: Strong negotiation and presentation skills, with a valid driver’s license for client visits.

Knowledge: Deep understanding of meat cuts, industry safety standards and cold chain logistics.
