Job Purpose

To oversee the daily care and management of goats, ensuring their health, safety, and productivity in a structured livestock environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily health, feeding, and watering of goats
• Collect grass daily for goat grazing
• Ensure the goat shed is clean, organized, and protected from predators
• Report any illnesses, injuries, or unusual behavior promptly
• Assist during breeding, birthing, and weaning processes
• Administer medication and basic veterinary care as instructed
• Maintain accurate herd records (births, deaths, sales, etc.)
• Safeguard farm tools, equipment, and feed stocks

Requirements

• Proven experience in animal care or livestock management (goats preferred).
• Knowledge of common goat illnesses and basic treatment methods
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Honest, reliable, and punctual.
