Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Solar Technician (Electrician) to handle the electrical installation, testing, and commissioning of solar PV systems. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical expertise and experience working with renewable energy technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Wire and connect solar panels, inverters, batteries, and other electrical components.
- Perform electrical testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of solar PV systems.
- Ensure compliance with national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in solar installations.
- Prepare technical documentation and system reports.
- Train junior staff and assist in knowledge transfer.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, or recognised electrician certification.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in electrical installation, preferably with solar PV systems.
- Strong knowledge of inverters, batteries, and grid integration.
- Familiarity with international standards (IEC, NEC) and local regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
