JOB DETAILS:
• Leads work to improve animal health and husbandry, increasing survival, reproduction and nutrition
• Trains field staff, community based staff and community in improved health care practices
• Oversees delivery of health services at Mafisa community animal health posts
• Works with staff, community and HQ to monitor herd status
• Qualifications and 5 years experience in animal health required; veterinary qualifications not essential
Reports to Programme Director. Largely field based, with time at HQ.
Post level 5.
