We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Manager / Workshop Manager to lead our hydraulic workshop operations. As part of our team, you'll oversee repairs, maintenance, and manufacturing activities, ensuring our clients receive top-notch quality and reliability.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the hydraulic workshop team, providing guidance and support
- Plan and allocate tasks, ensuring deadlines are met and work is performed to high standards
- Conduct quality checks and inspections to guarantee the integrity of hydraulic components and systems
- Manage inventory, order necessary parts and equipment, and optimize workshop resources
- Collaborate with other departments to meet project requirements
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Mentor and train team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to workshop activities
What We Look For:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5-7 years' experience in a similar industry, with a focus on hydraulic systems, fabrication, manufacture, and manufacturing welding experience is a must
- Proven technical expertise and leadership skills
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices
- Relevant technical certifications or qualifications are a plus
