Responsibilities or duties
Trainee Manager:
- Staff supervision: Assist in monitoring staff performance and discipline.
- Customer engagement: Support customer service initiatives and resolve minor complaints.
- Sales reporting: Prepare daily/weekly sales reports under guidance.
- Inventory checks: Conduct stock counts and assist in replenishment.
- Store presentation: Ensure shelves are neat, clean, and well-stocked.
- Learning management skills: Shadow the Store Manager to gain leadership experience.
Store Manager:
- Strategic planning: Develop and implement sales and growth strategies.
- Financial management: Oversee budgets, cash flow, and expense control.
- Performance evaluation: Conduct staff appraisals and set performance targets.
- Compliance enforcement: Ensure adherence to company policies, labor laws, and safety standards.
- Supplier coordination: Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts.
- Marketing initiatives: Drive promotions, advertising, and community engagement.
- Problem resolution: Handle escalated customer complaints and operational challenges.
- Leadership development: Mentor Trainee Managers and prepare them for future roles.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
High school diploma or equivalent. Diploma/Degree in Business, Retail, or related field. Basic knowledge in retail industry. Good communication and problem solving skills. Physical fitness and ability to work at heights. Candidate should be medically fit.
Experience needed
1-2 yrs of experience in fruit and veg production.
