JOB DETAILS:
- Inspect components for cracks and surface imperfections
- Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts
- Align components that are out of alignment such as axles
- Interpret designs and fabricate components
- Use various methods to weld pieces together
- Measuring and cutting materials to specifications
- Adhere to all HSEQ and work procedures
- Take part in hazard identification in your work environment
REQUIRED
Education:
Grade 12/Craft Certificate in a Metal Fabrication skill
Knowledge/Experience:
3-5 years’ work experience
Membership of a recognized professional body – local or International
Skills/Attributes:
Excellent communication skill
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent Interpersonal Skill
Customer Service Skill
Awareness of all industry health and safety protocols
Team player
