Role Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced and committed Welder to join our fabrication team. The successful candidate must have strong welding skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to deliver top-quality work on both small and large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG, TIG, and ARC welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and fabrication sketches.
- Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures, frames, and components.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure welds meet required specifications and safety standards.
- Operate and maintain welding machines, grinders, cutting torches, and related tools.
- Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and occupational health standards.
- Work effectively within a team to meet project deadlines.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of proven working experience as a welder in a fabrication workshop or industrial environment.
- Proficient in MIG, TIG, and ARC welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes.
- Physically fit and able to work in demanding environments.
- Trade test certificate, TEVETA certification, or equivalent welding qualification is an added advantage.
- Good communication skills and a positive work attitude.
