JOB DETAILS:
The Treatment Advocacy and Literacy Campaign (TALC) was formed to lobby for equitable, affordable, and sustainable access to treatment, care, and support for people living with HIV and AIDS in Zambia.
TALC has been granted funds from the Global Fund through the National AIDs Council to support differentiated ART service delivery in Eastern Province of Zambia. The project aims to improve ART service delivery through Community ART Access Points in Nyimba, Petauke, Sinda, Katete, Mambwe and Lundazi respectively. The project will run from August, 2021 to December, 2023.
Job Title: 7 District Project Coordinators (DPC)

Purpose of the job
The District Project Coordinators will ensure that the project is delivered on time, on budget and to the required quality standards (within agreed specifications). He/she will ensure that the project is effectively resourced and manages relationships with a wide range of groups (including all project contributors).
The DPC will also be responsible for managing the work of consultants, allocating and utilizing resources in an efficient manner and maintaining a cooperative, motivated and successful team.
He/she will be reporting to the National Project Coordinator.

Key responsibilities
• Supervise the Community Based Volunteers in the Community ART Access Points (CAAPS).
• Ensure that the Community ART Access Points are active and receiving the services with confidentiality.
• Ensure that PLHIV are enrolled in the digital appointment reminder program.
• Managing coordination of the partners and project staff engaged in the Community ART Access Points
• Developing and maintaining a detailed project work plan
• Recording and managing project issues and escalating where necessary.
• Resolving cross functional issues at project level and compiling monthly, quarterly and annual project reports
• Coordinate meetings and prepare/or edit meeting minutes and presentations
• File all project documents (Hard and soft copies)
• Document key lessons learned from the project implementation. Make sure that all project staff adhere to reporting deadlines
• Submit monthly reports on the project activities to the National Project Coordinator

Qualification and Experience
• Grade 12 with Five O’ levels including Mathematics and English
• Diploma in any social, health, clinical and for medical sciences or its equivalent. A Bachelor’s degree in the same will be an added advantage.
• Two (2) years or more work experience as a Project Coordinator in any social, health, clinical and or medical science related projects. Having experience in coordinating at national or sub national HIV/AIDS/STI/TB and or Malaria related government or NGO projects will be an added advantage
Languages
Due to the demographics of the said districts, and the diverse mix in ethnicity, it is important the applicant is able to read and understand at least two or more languages, with English

• Any two or more of the 7 major languages i.e., Bemba, Nyanja Lozi and Tonga, Luvale, Kaonde and Lunda
