Zambeef Products PLC is the largest integrated cold chain food products and Agribusiness Company in Zambia and one of the largest in the Southern Africa region. It is involved in the primary production, processing, distribution, and retailing of beef, chicken, pork, eggs, dairy, fish, flour, leather, shoes, stock feed, and day-old chicks throughout Zambia and the surrounding region.

Responsibilities or duties

Ensuring that there is always sufficient supply of coal and water to ensure that the supply of steam is regular and constant at all times.

Ensuring strict adherence to engineering specifications and safety standards.

It is also the boiler operator’s responsibility to know and fully understand what the emergency drills are and how to effectively put them into action when needed.

Maintaining the quality and feed safety management system.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Full grade 12 Certificate

Craft Certificate in Boiler Operator

Member of EIZ

Experience needed

3 years relevant experience, knowledge and experience in PLC systems is an added advantage.
