Responsibilities or duties

Ensure the foods supplied are of good quality and fit for human consumption

Ensure that the canteen and the surrounding are clean

Ensure that the food is properly cooked and served to employees on time so that they go back for work without wasting too much time

Ensure that all the canteen staffs observe maximum cleanliness

Ordering daily, weekly and month stock for the canteen

Ensuring that documents provided are up to date

Responsible for receiving of canteen food stuffs and required items.

Ensuring that all meal portions and coupons are accounted for and aligned

Ensure that the canteen doesn’t run out of food as a result of poor planning

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Grade 12 certificate.

Diploma or Certificate in Hotel Management & Catering Services

Experience needed

Minimum 1 year work experience in a similar or related field.

Any other provided details (e.g., benefits, work environment, team info, or additional notes)

Ability to use catering tool and able to cook for a lot of people Self-driven and accepting delegated duties

Interacts with staff and management requiring tact and diplomacy

Weekly and monthly reports

Ability to use mathematical computations
