Huachen International Supply Chain Limited seeks to employ a Customs Clearance Manager in the Clearance Department to join our growing team.

Responsibilities or duties

1. Able to connect customer documents and complete communication with customers

2. Maintain relationships between the official and external agencies: commodity inspection, maritime, ports and other government regulatory departments.

3. Team management and training: lead and manage the customs clearance operation team, responsible for the distribution, guidance and training of daily work

4. Process and compliance control: establish, optimize and supervise the implementation of the company's customs clearance operation process and compliance system to ensure zero major operational risks.

5. Closely monitor the latest policy developments of customs, tax and relevant government departments, and timely interpret and formulate internal response strategies.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Clearing & Forwarding, International Trade or related field.

2. At least eight (8) years of working experience in the customs/clearance field, including 3 years in team management experience.

3. Relevant qualification certificates, such as customs declarers, are an added advantage.

4. Strong awareness and rigour of risk prevention and control.

5. Excellent problem-solving ability, anti-pressure ability and multi-tasking ability.

6. Familiar with all kinds of office software and customs clearance operating systems.

Experience needed

At least eight (8) years of working experience in the customs/clearance field, including 3 years in team management experience.
