Location: Lusaka

I.                Major Functions:

Under the supervision of the Human Resources and Administration (HRA), the employee will be responsible for delivering and collecting authorised goods and services within Lusaka.

II.  Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Transportation of Goods: Safely collects and delivers goods from company premises to designated customers, ensuring timely and accurate distribution in accordance with delivery schedules.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conducts routine checks on the assigned vehicle, including oil levels, coolant, battery, brakes, tyres, and other essential components. Performs minor repairs where applicable and coordinates major repairs with authorized service providers. Always maintains the vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition.
• Trip and Fuel Logging: Accurately records all trips, daily mileage, fuel consumption, oil changes, lubrication activities, and other relevant vehicle performance data in the designated logbook or electronic system.
• Accident Protocol Compliance: In the event of an accident, strictly adheres to company policies and procedures, as well as national traffic regulations. Ensures timely reporting and documentation of incidents as required.
• Documentation Handling: Sorts, organizes, and submits all delivery-related documentation, including invoices, customer receipts, and supporting paperwork to the company in a timely and orderly manner.
• Additional Responsibilities:

Performs any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor or management, in support of operational efficiency and service excellence.

III.              Profile

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of ‘O’ level pass or grade 12 certificate or its equivalent
• A valid driving licence, C1, C, D1, D; BE
• Must be aged between 30 and 45 Years
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the delivery of goods and services, especially with the common chain stores in Zambia.
• Be fluent in the English Language, written and oral, and have a good command of Nyanja

• Must be a person with initiative and high moral integrity.

• Ready to work for long hours.
• Knowledgeable.
