JOB DETAILS:
Qualifications
• Full grade 12 certificate
• Valid Class C1/+TE drivers’ license
• Minimum of 5 years work experience operating graders, tipper trucks, tractors and other farm equipment.
• Experience working on the farm required
• Experience working in a fast paced-24-hour operation preferred

Job role
• Operate various land conveyance machinery, including tractors, tipper trucks, graders, utility vehicles, and other assigned mobile equipment.
• Perform pre-inspection checklist before use of machinery.
• Ensures that equipment is in working condition before use, with valid road tax/insurance/fitness
• Ensures that all equipment is cleaned after use for the next driver.
• Flags and reports all equipment faults/malfunction to the Supervisor/ maintenance.
• Assist with loading and offloading of goods/materials.
• Adheres to road traffic rules and health and safety regulations.
• Must be able to work night shift
