About the Role

Our client, Mighty Fin, is seeking a proactive and organised Human Resources Officer to support recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and day-to-day HR operations across the organisation. The successful candidate will play a key role in talent acquisition, HR administration, employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and labour regulations within a fast-paced fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee orientation processes.
  • Assist in sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates for open roles.
  • Maintain employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Coordinate performance management processes, staff appraisals, and feedback cycles.
  • Support employee training and development initiatives.
  • Assist with payroll coordination, attendance management, and leave administration.
  • Support employee engagement and workplace culture initiatives.
  • Assist with employee relations matters, disciplinary processes, and resolution of routine HR queries.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies, and HR procedures.
  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of HR policies and compliance standards.
  • Prepare HR reports and maintain effective administrative processes.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or a relevant Social Science discipline.
  • Grade 12 Certificate.
  • Valid ZIHRM Certification.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in:
    • Human Resources;
    • Administration;
    • Talent Acquisition;
    • Employee Relations; and
    • HR Operations.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and labour regulations.
  • Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Strong organisational and records management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience in fintech, financial services, or other high-growth organisations.
  • Familiarity with HR information systems and payroll platforms.
  • Exposure to performance management systems and training coordination.
  • Ability to support multiple business locations and priorities.

Compensation

The incumbent will receive a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
