A reputable pharmacy located in Garden Chilulu is urgently looking for a qualified and experienced Pharmacy Technologist (PharmTech) to join our dedicated team. We are seeking someone who is passionate about patient care, detail-oriented, and ready to contribute to the smooth and professional running of our pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications and counsel customers on the proper use of medicines
- Maintain accurate patient records and prescription logs
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and stock control of pharmaceutical products
- Manage inventory and place orders for stock replenishment as needed
- Comply with health and safety regulations and ensure high levels of hygiene
- Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Diploma or Certificate in Pharmacy Technology from a recognized institution
- Must be registered with the Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ)
- Valid practicing license (or eligible to renew)
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a retail/community pharmacy setting (fresh graduates may be considered)
- Strong communication skills and a customer-friendly attitude
Desirable Qualities:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Trustworthy and reliable
- Familiarity with pharmacy software is an added advantage
Remuneration:
A competitive salary will be offered based on qualifications and experience.
