Description:

One of our NGO clients has engaged Brilliance Executive Management Consultancy Limited (BEMCONSULT) to recruit targeting candidates from Zambia’s NGO sector with WASH project experience.

Job Purpose

The Project Manager will ensure the project complies with the standard systems and procedures for implementation at all levels to achieve results and impact.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project planning and reporting
  • Supervise WASH Project Team staff and oversee their performance
  • Supervise implementation of project activities
  • Coordinate management of work contracts
  • Lead partnership engagements

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a diverse team
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Ability to facilitate institutional strengthening processes
  • Ability to train others

Primary Areas of Accountability:

Qualifications and Experience

  • Master’s Degree in any Social Science preferably Public Health, Development Studies or Sociology with experience in M&E, advocacy and institutional strengthening
  • Must have at least a minimum of 5+ years’ experience of Programme/Project Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation with an international NGO
  • Must have proven project management experience in WASH projects
