The Italian School of Lusaka is pleased to announce multiple teaching job openings in Lusaka for the 2026–2027 academic year. As an expanding international institution offering the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) curriculum from Nursery through A-Level, we are seeking passionate, qualified, and experienced educators to join our vibrant Primary and Secondary teams.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will report to the Deputy Heads of Primary or Secondary and will be responsible for delivering a broad, balanced, and differentiated curriculum tailored to student needs. You will support designated curriculum areas and foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages every student to reach their full potential.
Qualifications and Experience Required
Grade 12 Certificate
Bachelor’s degree or higher in the relevant subject area
Relevant additional qualifications are advantageous
Clearance from the Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA)
Current practicing license from the Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ)
Minimum of five years teaching experience in the relevant subject
Strong knowledge of subject curriculum and pedagogy
Experience teaching diverse student groups
Evidence of continuous professional development
Experience with Cambridge A-Level programmes is highly recommended
