ROLE SUMMARY:

The Business Development Supervisor is responsible for driving SchoolPay’s growth in Zambia by supervising a team of Sales Executives and Agents, building strategic partnerships with schools and education stakeholders, managing regional expansions, and ensuring sustained usage of the platform. This role blends field supervision, sales strategy, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional coordination to increase adoption, retention, and transaction volume.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead, coach, and manage sales teams to achieve school onboarding, usage, and revenue targets.
  • Drive market expansion by identifying priority schools, executing sensitization campaigns, and ensuring timely onboarding.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with school leaders, education authorities, and community stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Monitor performance, track key metrics, and provide insights to improve usage, revenue growth, and field operations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related fields.
  • 3+ years of experience in field sales, business development, or agent network supervision preferably in EdTech, fintech, or telecom.
  • Proven leadership and coaching experience.
  • Strong track record of achieving growth targets.
  • Fluency in English and local Zambian languages.
