Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring operating, safety and housekeeping standards and parameters set by the Senior Shift Supervisor are met or exceeded.
Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
· Ensure the efficient transfer of ore and waste through the Processing Plant in sufficient quantity as
required to maintain circuit parameters as directed by the Senior Shift Supervisor.
· Ensure the optimal utilization of all fixed plant throughout the processing area as required to maintain
circuit parameters.
· Ensure the effective use of grinding media and chemical reagents.
· Record all operating parameters and changes as required by the Senior Supervisor.
· Maintain communications with Shift Supervisors, all other Processing personnel, Maintenance
personnel and Metallurgical personnel as and when required.
· Maintain all applicable Safety and Environmental standards for yourself and fellow workers within your
area of responsibility.
· Maintain a clean and orderly workplace by controlling placement of supplies, spillage clean-ups and
normal housekeeping duties.
· Participate in SAG and Ball Mill reline activities.
To be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 School Certificate.
·Ability to show initiative and have good interpersonal skills.
· Able to pass pre-employment medicals.
· Good communication skills in English language and comprehension.
· Must be willing to comply with LMC safe working practices and standards.
· Minimum of two years working experience in the Processing Plant.
