JOB VACANCY: SALES EXECUTIVES AND THE TEAM LEADS (MICROFINANCE)
A reputable and wholly Zambian-owned Microfinance institution is urgently seeking Sales Persons to support its growing microfinance operations.
Duty Stations: Lusaka, Solwezi, Kitwe, and Kabwe
The ideal candidates must be aggressive, self-motivated, and target-oriented, with proven experience in microfinance sales.
JOB DESCRIPTION / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Sales Person will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following
- Actively sourcing and acquiring new microfinance clients
- Marketing and selling microfinance products (loans and related services)
- Meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Conducting client appraisals and preliminary credit assessments
- Collecting and verifying client documentation
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Following up on loan repayments and assisting in collections where necessary
- Conducting field visits and market activations
- Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Proven microfinance sales experience is a MUST
- Any tertiary qualification (business, finance, marketing, or related field is an added advantage)
- Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict targets
- Honest, disciplined, and results-driven
- Must be based in Lusaka, Solwezi, Kitwe, or Kabwe
