The organization operates a hospital, multiple health facilities, community outreach initiatives, and schools across Zambia. Successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate professional competence, strong ethical values, and a commitment to advancing the organization's Christian ethos and service mandate.
Human Resource Officer (1 Position)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and staff deployment in line with MoH staffing norms and organizational policies
- Coordinate performance management, staff appraisals, and capacity-building initiatives
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, HR policies, and ethical standards
- Maintain accurate staff records, contracts, and HR information systems
- Support staff welfare, discipline processes, and employee relations
- Advise management on HR planning, succession, and workforce development
Qualifications & Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years’ HR experience, preferably in healthcare or NGO settings
- Knowledge of Zambian labour laws and HR best practices
- Strong interpersonal, confidentiality, and organisational skills
- Registration with ZIHRM is a requirement.
