Mooto College of Business is inviting applications from motivated and hardworking young people to join a 6-Month Poultry Processing Skills Training Programme attached to the Mooto Foods Processing Facility.
This programme is designed to provide practical, hands-on industry experience in poultry processing, food handling, quality assurance, packaging, and production operations. Participants will work alongside experienced professionals in a real production environment and gain skills that are directly relevant to employment in Zambia's growing agro-processing sector.
Successful trainees who complete the programme and demonstrate competence, discipline, and commitment will be considered for employment opportunities within the Mooto Foods Processing Facility.
Programme Benefits
- Practical industry-based training in poultry processing
- Monthly stipend of ZMW 1,000
- Shared accommodation provided at Mooto College of Business (self-catering)
- Mentorship from experienced production personnel
- Opportunity for employment upon successful completion of the training programme

Training Schedule
Duration: 6 Months
Start Date: 1 July 2026
End Date: 30 December 2026
Working Hours: 9-hour shifts
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Qualifications or requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Applicants must:
- Be below the age of 35 years
- Possess at least a Grade 9 Certificate
- Be physically fit and willing to work in a food processing environment
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic, discipline, and willingness to learn
- Be available for the full six-month training period
Preferred Attributes
- Interest in agriculture, food processing, manufacturing, or agribusiness
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and hygiene standards
