Thor International is seeking a qualified and highly motivated Accountant for an immediate start at our Lusaka office. The successful candidate will manage daily financial operations, ensure full tax compliance, and oversee audit preparations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate daily financial ledgers
• Prepare comprehensive monthly financial statements
• Manage all monthly ZRA statutory returns
• File VAT, PAYE, and Income Tax
• Handle NAPSA and NHIMA monthly compliance
• Coordinate internal and external audit processes
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Manage payroll processing and disbursements
• Produce monthly management accounts and quarterly financial reports

Required Qualifications:

• Full ZICA professional qualification or equivalent
• Current and active ZICA professional membership
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience
• Proven track record with ZRA portals
• Deep knowledge of Zambian tax laws
• Proficiency in modern accounting software
• Strong advanced Excel spreadsheet skills
• High level of attention to detail
