Background

PRIVATE COMPANY

SCHOOL FARM

Responsibilities

• Teach Agriculture to Form 1/grade 12 students
• Oversee and manage the school farm and fruit orchard
• Train students in practical skills: planting, grafting, irrigation, harvesting
• Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans and records

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Agriculture /Agricultural Education

Experience

• Minimum 2 years teaching experience AND practical experience in crop production

Specialized Knowledge

• Hands-on experience in growing bananas, oranges, and a variety of vegetables such as tomatoes, rape, cabbage, and onions
• Ability to teach both theory and practical lessons
• Knowledge of modern farming methods, pest control, irrigation, and soil management
• Must be self-motivated, disciplined and able to manage a school garden/farm
