JOB DETAILS:
Summary: Specializes in diagnosing, installing, maintaining, and repairing the electrical and electronic systems in vehicles and mobile equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical circuits, starting/charging systems, and CAN-bus networks.
- Install and calibrate electronic monitoring systems, cameras, and GPS equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Repair faults in vehicle lighting, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Work closely with mechanics to resolve electrical issues impacting mechanical performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Trade Certification as an Auto Electrician.
- Extensive experience with heavy vehicle electrical systems.
- Proficiency with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
