VACANCY – BILLING RECONCILIATION ACCOUNTANT

We are looking for a competent, analytical and detail-oriented Billing & Reconciliation Accountant to join our growing Finance Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing billing operations, performing account reconciliations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions and records.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and process invoices and billing transactions.
• Perform account reconciliations including invoices, payments, customer accounts and ledger balances.
• Identify, investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and unreconciled items.
• Monitor receivables and follow up on outstanding balances where necessary.
• Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliation schedules.
• Prepare periodic billing and reconciliation reports for management review.
• Support month-end closing, audits and financial reporting processes.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures, internal controls and finance policies.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional qualification (ZICA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience in accounting, billing, reconciliation or finance functions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, integrity and ability to meet deadlines.
