Job Overview:
Sarago Mining is looking for a skilled Boilermaker to fabricate, assemble, install, and repair heavy-duty metal structures and equipment used in mining operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Fabricate, assemble, and install heavy-duty mining equipment and structures.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Perform welding, cutting, and shaping of metal components.
• Inspect and repair damaged or worn-out mining equipment.
• Ensure all fabrication and repair work meets industry safety standards.
• Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure minimal downtime of equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work and materials used.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Certificate or Diploma in Boilermaking, Welding, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Boilermaker in the mining or heavy equipment industry.
• Must be a registered member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Arc welding.
• Experience working with heavy steel structures and mining equipment.
• Ability to use cutting tools, grinders, and other fabrication equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
