JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary:

We’re seeking a skilled Bricklayer to construct, repair, and maintain structures using brick, block, and other masonry materials. The ideal candidate will have experience in bricklaying, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lay bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials: Construct walls, partitions, and other structures according to plans and specifications.

2. Prepare surfaces: Clean, mix, and apply mortar to surfaces.

3. Cut and shape bricks: Use various tools to cut and shape bricks to fit specific areas.

4. Ensure structural integrity: Verify that structures are level, plumb, and meet building codes.

5. Collaborate with other tradespeople: Work with other construction professionals to complete projects.

Requirements:

1. Experience: Proven experience as a bricklayer or in a related field.

2. Physical ability: Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions.

3. Attention to detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.

4. Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople.

Skills:

1. Masonry techniques: Knowledge of bricklaying techniques, materials, and tools.

2. Blueprint reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans.
