JOB DETAILS:
Access Bank Zambia is looking for an experienced and visionary Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead its IT department. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in IT governance, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive and implement IT strategy aligned with business goals.
- Ensure stability of IT systems and core banking platforms.
- Lead major IT projects and manage vendor relationships.
- Oversee IT governance, compliance, and risk management.
- Guide and mentor the IT team while partnering with senior leadership.
Requirements:
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 10-15 years in senior IT roles (CIO/IT Director preferred)
- Proven track record in digital innovation and transformation
- Professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CITM)
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
