Blackrock Security Services is currently recruiting for full-time control room jobs in Lusaka. These positions play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients through vigilant monitoring and effective coordination.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Diploma or Certificate in Information Technology, Telecommunication, or a related field
- Grade 12 School Certificate with at least 5 O Levels including English
- Applicants must be 25 years or older
- Clean criminal record
Experience needed
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in security operations, with 1 to 2 years in a control room environment
- Proven supervisory experience and expertise in monitoring CCTV systems, alarms, access control, and patrol tracking systems
Responsibilities or duties
- Oversee monitoring of all CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and radio communications to ensure rapid response to emergencies
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of control room operators and security guards on duty
- Ensure proper deployment of personnel and strict adherence to client and management instructions
- Maintain detailed daily incident reports and CCTV footage logs
- Report significant incidents promptly to the Operations Manager
