JOB DETAILS:

Location: Carousel Mall, Lusaka & Kitwe & Ndola

DS Solar Zambia, a leader in renewable energy solutions, is seeking a reliable and responsible Driver to join our team at the Carousel Mall branch. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient transportation of goods, staff, and clients, while maintaining DS Solar’s commitment to excellence and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport goods, equipment, and staff to various destinations as required.
- Ensure timely delivery and collection of solar products and materials.
- Maintain the vehicle in excellent condition by conducting regular checks, servicing, and ensuring cleanliness.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Assist in loading and offloading goods when required.
- Provide support to the sales and logistics teams when necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
- A valid Zambian driver’s license class CE with a clean driving record. Must reside in the towns indicated
- Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience.
- Familiarity with Zambian roads and other towns across the country
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge and vehicle diagnosis is a must
- Strict adherence to Zambian road signs, Punctual, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
