Key Responsibilities
- Lead the visual planning and execution of all video and photo shoots, collaborating with the creative team to realize each project’s vision.
- Oversee camera, lighting, and grip setups, ensuring optimal technical quality on every shoot.
- Maintain all in-house production equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting kits, stabilizers, batteries, drones etc.
- Conduct regular equipment checks, troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues.
- Recommend upgrades or additions to equipment inventory based on production needs.
- Train and support the camera team on proper gear use, safety, and creative techniques.
- Work on set as the lead camera operator or lighting director depending on the nature of the shoot.
- Ensure consistent quality and visual style, from pre-production through post.
- Contribute to internal content creation and passive income projects, such as stock footage and branded visuals.
- Stay updated on industry technology trends, new gear releases, and evolving shooting styles.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Director of Photography, Camera Technician, or Senior Camera Operator.
- In-depth knowledge of camera systems, lenses, lighting setups, and rigging.
- Experience with visual storytelling, cinematic composition, and on-location lighting control.
- Technical ability to maintain, clean, and troubleshoot professional production equipment.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to direct a crew on set.
- Familiarity with modern video formats, resolution standards, and frame rate requirements.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly during fast-paced shoots.
