Atlas Primary School invites passionate, innovative and child-centred educators to join its Founding Team.

Responsibilities or duties

  • Plan and deliver lessons that focus heavily on early reading readiness, phonics, and basic number concepts, as this is the entry year into formal schooling.
  • Create a warm, nurturing classroom environment that helps young learners transition from preschool to structured primary school.
  • Emphasise the development of fine motor skills (e.g., handwriting, cutting, colouring) and early social skills.
  • Use a high level of hands-on, play-based and sensory activities to introduce foundational literacy and numeracy.
  • Work closely with parents to support children who are new to the school routine.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

  • Minimum Diploma in Education or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Education is an added advantage.
  • Specialisation in Early Childhood Development or Junior Education is an added advantage.
  • Excellent classroom management, communication and ICT skills.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism and teamwork.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Experience needed
  • Two (2) years' teaching or classroom support experience.
  • Any other provided details (e.g., benefits, work environment, team info, or additional notes)
  • Successful candidates will receive training in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme as part of Atlas Primary School's professional development programme.
