Lecturer in Automotive Engineering (01)
Reporting to: Coordinator Engineering Studies
Principal Accountabilities (Main Duties)
- To prepare schemes of work, lesson plan, and teach students on the set curriculum.
- To prepare and conduct examinations.
- To mark examination answer scripts. .
- To help with extracurricular activities when required
- To maintain the professional teaching files and submit for inspection
- To ensure that all students in the class are registered with institution.
- To counsel students on social behavior
- To invigilate examinations when required
- Maintain student discipline at all times when in contact with them.
- Any other duty assigned to you by your superior
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Grade 12 Certificate with 5 credits or better including Mathematics and English.
- Minimum of an earned Diploma in Automotive Mechanics from an accredited and reputable College
- Diploma in Teaching Methodology from an accredited and reputable College
- Demonstrated ability to conduct research and write scholarly publications
- Computer literate and must be conversant in Microsoft Office package
- Minimum (2) years of work experience at in Automotive Industry/Teaching Automotive Mechanics’
- All qualifications to be certified by ZAQA (Zambia Qualification Authority).
- Member of EIZ, accredited by TEVETA will be an added advantage.

Attend to student queries and help them reconcile their accounts. Ensure that payment vouchers are properly filed and stored in a secure place. Match invoices to purchase orders and other accounting documents. To make payment and reconcile supply accounts (creditors). Perform monthly bank reconciliations on all bank accounts. Assist in financial audits and implementation of audit recommendation Work in compliance with organization accounting standard and guidelines. Knowledge software application (SAGE Pastel 200 Evolution Accounting Package. Knowledge of Public Finance Management-Accounting. Attend to any other duties that maybe assigned by your supervisor. Must be a member ZICA. All qualifications to be certified by ZAQA (Zambia Qualification Authority).

Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure in a fast pace environment.
Grade 12 Certificate with 5 credits or better including Mathematics and English. Diploma or Degree in Accounting or related field. Experience with Pastel will be an added advantage. Able to perform accounting reconciliations. Filling of statutory returns (PAYE, NAPSA). Self-motivated and have analytical skills Quick learner with a positive attitude. Able to work proactively and independently Minimum (2) years of work experience.
