JOB DETAILS:

Sinomine Kitumba Mineral Company Limited, located in the Mumbwa District of Central Province, is a joint venture operating the Kitumba Mine, which is set to commence operations soon. The project involves an initial investment of US$600 million and is expected to create around 2,500 direct employment opportunities. Additionally, the mine will begin operations alongside the establishment of a 50-megawatt solar power plant. Currently, several job openings need to be filled immediately.

1. LEGAL OFFICER

He/She will ensure compliance with laws and regulations, manage legal risks, and advise on various legal matters related to the mentioned industries. The role will involve working closely with internal stakeholders, such as management teams, engineers, and project managers, to provide strategic legal advice and help drive business objectives

Professional Qualification Experience:

2 – years plus
Education Level: Degree
Qualifications: Law Degree, ZIALE Valid Practicing License

Software: Job related

Equipment: Industry-related

Knowledge Of: Supreme Court, high court, industrial relations court and all arbitral and mediation proceedings.

Skills: Excellent analytical skills

Ability To: Liaise and coordinate with high-level stakeholder engagements

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: bachelor degree
