We are a honey company, based in Lusaka, seeking a competent and highly organized Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operations, streamline processes, and ensure
efficiency across production, field operations, and distribution. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast paced environment, with strong Excel skills to manage data analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day operations, including field operations, production, packaging, warehousing, and logistics.
- Oversee scheduling and delegation of tasks.
- Record keeping, creation and maintenance of operational reports
- Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to meet production targets and customer delivery deadlines.
- Train, mentor, and support operational staff to encourage skill development and teamwork.
Desired Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, food production, field operations (overseeing operations in rural areas across Zambia), or related operations environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP) is preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
