Role Summary

We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and professional Personal Assistant to support the Creative Director in managing studio operations, events, communications, and day-to-day tasks. This role is crucial in keeping our growing operations seamless and ensuring Lusaka Salsa’s high standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Creative Director’s calendar, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Oversee class schedules, teacher coordination, and student communications.
  • Assist with event planning, logistics, and promotion (socials, festivals, classes, performances).
  • Support social media content coordination and online engagement.
  • Handle admin tasks including payments, documentation, and correspondence.
  • Liaise with vendors, partners, and clients professionally.
  • Assist in recruitment, training, and management of instructors.
  • Anticipate problems and provide proactive solutions.

Qualification & Experience Required

  • Grade 12 certificate.
  • Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Office Management, Communications, or a related field (an added advantage).
  • Minimum of 1 – 5 years of relevant administrative or office support experience.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and discreet.
  • Time management skills with flexibility to work evenings/weekends.

  • Passion for dance, events, or community engagement (advantageous).
  • Previous experience as a Personal Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or in event coordination.
  • Experience working in the dance, entertainment, or events industry.
  • Social media management and content coordination experience.
